Dear Martin Luther King Jr,
My name is Alfredo, I am writing you this letter to tell you how grateful I am for you helping society to take a big step towards social justice and love for humanity. It has been a rocky way for everyone, but not as hard as you showed us in your story, your passion for life and the letters you left in your books. I know you dealt with difficult stubborn people who wanted a life for themselves and not think for others. You fought hard for social justice, no racism, love for all lives, and for people’s right to use the same transportation, stores, schools and thanks to you and your supporters this was achieved. I am writing you from the future 2021… last year was stressful, we have been dealing with a pandemic since 2019, then we had riots because of social injustice and the movement of black lives matter raised awareness in our country. I wish you were here to help us go through these difficulties and lead us with your wisdom and prayer as you have always done before. Our society still has gaps of injustice, racism for nationalities and religion disagreement, we need more people like you around. I know you are proud of what you left for us and how you truly changed many hearts in the world. Just know, we are proud and thankful for all that you have done.
My blessings and love to you.
PS: I always like this quote from you:
“He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love.”
